My Vintage Ginny Doll Arrives

My DD calls this my "replacement daughter," but I had a Ginny doll when I was a little girl, so it's really a nostalgia thing. I found her on ebay complete with her cute outfit, as well as her vintage wardrobe. She's talented, too--when you make her walk by moving her legs, her head turns back and forth. Look at that sweet, sad face--who would not love this doll? And besides, she's the same age as I am! :-)

I've been fortunate -- I still have my own Ginny doll (who looks like yours) that I've been designing clothes & hats for. I also have my ex-sister-in-law's very blonde Ginny doll and a lot of wonderful clothes that she came with. I really must get all their things together and take some pictures.

I have a Ginny doll, too, and I think she's around your doll's age. She's missing in the house, but I'll find her again. Mine has blonde braids and her knees bend.
