This is my latest quilt, I photographed the flower at Farmer John's field in Half Moon Bay on a tour last year. The flower was cut and standing in a vase on a table--I thought it was more interesting to see just one huge flower, instead of a whole field of them.
This past weekend, I demonstrated watercolor painting at the Foster City Art and Wine Festival. The Peninsula Quilters Guild also had a show at the community center there. It was lots of fun, painting and chatting--I could do that every weekend.
