I got a 20-lb turkey for $7 at Safeway (it's in the oven now). Last night, I made this lovely pumpkin spice castle cake in my new bundt pan -- we will eat it for dessert today. We're also having stuffing, salad, and yams. That should put us all into a coma for awhile.

Marina: I have that same pan! I plan to use it for Christmas with a ginger cake recipe. Previously I have used it for a yellow cake for our garden club summer pot luck. I turn it out and just glaze it a little and then put Turbinado sugar around it. I looks just like a sand castle and everyone loves it! Happy thanksgiving, LouAnnd who also got her turkey at Safeway in that sale!
Now that's a cake!
Wow, that's such a cool cake!! I wish I could get a pan like that in Buenos Aires!
